David Y. Adler

David is a Partner at Paragon. Prior to co-founding the firm, David was Chief Executive Officer of Triene, an information services company targeting financial professionals which was funded by Goldman Sachs & Co. and Reuters. Before founding Triene, David was a Managing Director, Head of Telecommunications M&A and a founding member of the Media and Telecommunications group at Banc of America Securities (formerly Montgomery Securities), which he joined in 1997. From 1993 to 1997, David served as a Vice President and Associate in the Investment Banking Group of Goldman, Sachs & Co. From 1992 to 1993, David was an Associate in the Corporate Finance Department of Scotia Capital Markets in Toronto. In addition, David was a securities lawyer for 3 years with Goodmans, a Canadian law firm with 250 lawyers worldwide. David practiced in their New York and Toronto offices and was admitted to the New York and Ontario Bars.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Distinction from the University of Toronto and a Joint Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Laws Degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada.

Michael E. Levy

Michael is a Partner at Paragon. Prior to co-founding the firm, Michael was Senior Vice President in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Lehman Brothers and Head of Technology Services Mergers & Acquisitions. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Michael was a Principal in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department of Banc of America Securities and its predecessors for eight years. In 1999, Michael also served as Chief Operating Officer of Banc of America Securities’ M&A Department as well as a member of the firm’s Fairness Opinion Review Committee. Over his career, Michael has developed extensive experience originating, structuring and advising on M&A transactions in a range of sectors including technology, consumer/retail, media/telecommunications, business services and healthcare.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration with Honors from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
