Generally, we seek to hire either graduating students from top-tier undergraduate schools or experienced investment banking (corporate finance) analysts from major investment banks. In both cases, candidates should possess:
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Exceptional record of academic achievement
- Comfortable working with financial data
- Driven to achieve results and perform well under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to articulate complex ideas simply and summarize effectively
- Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to excellence in work product and high professional and ethical standards
- Strong technical and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Background in accounting is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work within teams, take direction and thrive with limited supervision
- Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-performance and fun work environment
- Ability to “play up” and perform functions of typical associates in investment banking
